That about sums up my life. What a ride it's been!
I am not going to bore you with details of my life, other than to say I was born in 1964 in Gimli, Manitoba, spent a majority of my younger years in Kitchener, Ontario before moving to Woolwich Township.
As I say in the title "life happens when you make other plans" for me this has been my life. You just never know what is in store for you when you think you have it all together.
Now, I am married to Ron and have a daughter, who is now out on her own and doing well.
When I am not working at one of my many faceted jobs ( plastic Recycling company as office administration, local computer store as bookkeeper, a retirement home as an office assistant, church secretary and An elected / appointed Councillor for the Township of Woolwich) in 2012, I have taken up painting again after 30 years.
I took my first art course at age 13, at one of the local high schools in Kitchener, Ontario, for the cost of $10. I'm glad I kept two paintings I made from that era, to remind me how it all started.
